Today was a lot. I basically saved myself a lot of future headaches while giving myself some current ones.
Why, you may ask? Because I spent entirely too much time researching image licensing. Oof! A lot goes into using stock images and I’m glad I found out prior to publishing, but also frazzled because it led to several necessary changes in Atticus (formatting software).
You see, I had used free images from Canva and didn’t think twice. But then I saw a video of an author having her book removed from Amazon due to using Canva images. 😱
Easy fix since I had istock image credits, but still a pain since I have to update all the images I already created.
Meh, live and you learn! I’m thoroughly enjoying this process despite the learning curve. I can’t wait to see the final product and share it with you guys!
